Who I am
I am an early 1990s baby, more affectionately known as a “millennial” these days. Consistent with the millennial stereotype I love to take pictures and travel. In the past, I have had “adventurers” in my
Okay now that I’ve either run you off or intrigued you, either way here is a little more about me. I am the 4th child, 3rd girl of 5 children. I have two brothers and two sisters. My family is everything to me and I literally cannot imagine life without them. I was born in Texas (hence the y’all above, sorry can’t help it…it comes so natural), moved to North Carolina at 15 (2006) and then recently relocated again to Arizona (2018).
When in North Carolina I worked as a paralegal for 8 years and loved it. I have a passion for the law. When I moved to Arizona I transited into digital marketing and am now learning a new trade. I love constantly learning and keeping myself challenged, which has become apparent by cross-country moves and complete career changes.
When one of my co-workers told me, “church is your everything,” I took this as one of the highest compliments. This comment was unprompted and without my coaching, she genuinely meant it. Serving God is my truest passion of all. I love having the opportunity to live for God wholeheartedly and I consider it a privilege to live a holy and moral life. In July 2019 I will have the opportunity to combine my passion for traveling with my love for God as I embark on my first ever missions trip to Benelux. I have created more bucket lists in my 20s than most make in their entire lifetime. But I have been blessed to mark many of the items off so I gotta keep updating it to give myself more to work towards. Right now I have a goal to run a race in all 50 states! Currently, have completed 8 (as of 8/15/2018). I have loved getting to see the differenced between races and states as I check them off.
In addition to my love for traveling, I also have a love for baking. For as long as I can remember I’ve always loved being in the kitchen and making baked goods for people. I love to make people happy and one way I have learned to do that is to feed them. Everyone loves to eat! You’ve probably figured this out but I have shared some of my favorite recipes on my blog, if you haven’t go check it out! Then bake something and let me know how it goes and how happy you make your loved ones.
